Embark on an unforgettable 6 day camping safari through Tanzania’s most iconic wildlife destinations. Accommodation will be in waterproof tents that sleep two people (2.5m x 2.5m and 1.8m high) with built-in mosquito nets at the entrances and windows. Comfortable 5 cm thick sleeping mattresses are provided, as well as robust camping furniture such as tables, safari chairs, functional cutlery and crockery. You will also be accompanied by a skilled safari cook who will take care of your culinary needs.
We start the tour after breakfast at the hotel and are driven to the Tarangire National Park. An enormous park home to a variety of animals including elephant herds. The Tarangire River has stunning grasslands, recurring swamps and not forgetting the life-giving Tarangire River. Besides spotting elephants, you will see giraffes, zebras, buffalo, antelopes and over 550 bird species. The noise of the safari vehicles become a norm for the animals in the park. After your game drive, you head to the camp just outside the reserve and spend the night here.

Tarangire National Park Game Drive

After breakfast you will drive to the smaller Lake Manyara National Park which is known for it’s bird species, primate filled forests and grassy plains. A large section of the park is covered by Lake Manyara which is alkaline and therefore home to colonies of flamingos and other water birds. You may spot elephants, giraffes, hippos, wildebeests, impalas and groups of monkeys and baboons in the forest near the lake. After a lovely game drive in the afternoon you will travel to the small village of Mto wa Mbu on the outskirts of Lake Manyara National Park. Relax by the pool, enjoy a refreshing drink at the camp bar, and share stories of your incredible wildlife encounters with your fellow travelers this evening.

Serengeti National Park Game Drive

At daybreak, after a lovely breakfast, you drive down into the crater. Inside the world’s largest caldera, you will see a diversity of wildlife ranging from black rhinos, Grant’s and Thomson’s gazelles, lions and leopards to elephants and mountain reedbucks in the forests on the slopes. You may also see buffaloes, spotted hyenas, rare wild dogs and some of the more than 500 bird species of the area. After an intensive game drive and a picnic lunch, you will leave the caldera in the afternoon and travel back to Arusha where you will arrive in the early evening.
